Con's: Spills water constantly!
This would be the best iron I've ever owned if not for the constant spillage! Whoever designed it, decided to put the water refill spout on the front nose. This would not be such a problem if the cover didn't slant down towards the nose too. If I filled it more than a quarter of the way, my clothes would be soaked. And good luck if you set the steam level to anything lower than 3. This is a well made iron, and it should be a 4 or 5, but I have to give it a 2 mainly because it has "Drip Free" printed on it when it clearly is not.

Wonderful Top Notch Iron, May 18, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Sunbeam 4232-000-000 Steam Master Stainless Steel Soleplate Iron (Kitchen) I purchased this iron because when my old "off brand" iron bit the dust and my neighbor loaned me hers to satisfy my need to quilt and I love this iron. I knew I wanted the exact model as her's. This is because her's is 3 years old and has been working like a charm every week in all that time.
That said this iron is light weight with a nice size water reservoir. I love the 3 degrees of steam. I've found the middle setting to be just right for getting out those tough wrinkles. With that on, just a touch from the burst of steam button and the wrinkle is gone.
I find I really like the smart Auto shut off. As a quilter I am constantly pressing and sewing. When I tip the iron it comes back on and is ready to go without hesitation.
This model is considered anti-drip. The door to the water snaps shut tight. Always remember don't use the iron as it is heating up wait until the heat indicator strip is fully red before using, follow the same principal... Read more

I don't need any extra features... just a good steam iron that is simple. It is easy to clean aand easy to fill. The steam is so subtle I can barely see it but it does the job.
