I purchased this iron after my Shark iron died. I hoped that this one might be more durable, but I was seriously mistaken! Despite being advertised as "leak-proof," water dripped profusely from the holding tank. After ironing, my hand was drenched. Furthermore, the steam and water spray buttons are raised, which interferes with a proper grip on the iron. So, to get a good grip, you have to place your hand on the bottom third of the handle instead of in the middle. This is extremely uncomfortable and made my wrist hurt badly. Under no circumstances would I recommend this item!

This thing drips crazy. It needs a diaper. The instructions state that the steam chamber will be conditioned after a few uses and it will seal completely and stop dripping. Even after 7 uses, the iron kept dripping. Not a good product design. Over prized. Also, this iron is pretty heavy and is not easy on your hands.

This iron is very heavy and leaks water everywhere... this may not sound like a big problem but, in my case it stop working in less than 4 months. When I opened it (in an effort to see what the problem was) I found all the cable connections damp wet and rusted! It was impossible to repair, so I had to buy a new one... a different brand of course! Not recommended!
