This iron has had a series of issues 1) it has a hot spot in the front that melts all synthetic fabrics. Even if you carefully set the temperature to the correct fabric, the hot area will melt and stick. You are constantly scraping the sole to remove residue. 2)Mine steamed well for about 2 weeks then it started to leak BADLY. Everything ended up with water spots.
Select any other iron. This one is a waste of money.

We have had this iron for about 2-3 months and it has been difficult to use. The problem is that this iron collects residue from whatever you are ironing. It has even started to melt a cotton/polyester shirt. I have used it on lower setting so as to not melt the fabric, but then it doesn't take out the wrinkles. The possibility exists that the problems are from my inexperience with irons but just the same. I feel that the problem is probably because the foot is ceramic. I will be purchasing an iron with a metal foot next time.
