Cheap material, April 16, 2009 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Honey Can Do IBC-01282 Silicone Coated Ironing Board Cover & Pad (Kitchen) The cover ripped when I tried to tighten it with the string in the back and the material seems like it would not be very heat resistant. The included pad is pretty thin - But, it does what it is supposed to do, cover the ironing board.

The pad would not stay on the board. Also, it constantly created lines, which would transfer over onto the clothes. I did not give this product one star just for the fact I got what I paid for and I should of known better.

It is a little thin, but it is working fine and I'm single so it will only get minimum use. I really wanted an old-timer plain simple silver ironing board cover rather than all the fancy ones on the market nowadays, and that is what I found here. Thank you.
