This review is from: Proctor-Silex 14410 SteamExcel Lightweight Iron (Kitchen) I bought this iron one year ago and I still love it. Ironing is a chore but this really does help. It's lightweight, easy to fill and I love the dial for selecting the heat setting.....I don't accidently "bump" it and change the setting while I'm ironing something like I did with other irons. I would recommend this as a good buy!

The most important feature, however, had to be drip-free. I was somewhat concerned about the price, but I was willing to pay for the quality of a good iron that wouldn't damage our clothing. I was constantly being disappointed with similar, more expensive brands because they would leave water spots on our fine, name-brand clothing. I was tired of losing money and being disappointed so I decided to try a more reasonable price in hopes of getting all the features I was looking for. I decided to try the Proctor Silex SteamExcel Iron. I was extremely satisfied and proud to say: durable, non-stick, easy to operate with various temperature settings, and no water spots...drip-free! I got everything I expected and saved!
