My mother had this iron and I got it when she went into the nursing home. I have a nice Rowenta, but I thought having another iron for crafting would be a plus. This is the perfect iron for that and other light ironing. I like that its cordless and very light weight. It also heats up very fast.
But if you do any major ironing....pants, shirts, blouses....this will probably disappoint. It has steam but no shot of steam to set creases or help with very wrinkled garments. And because its cordless, it doesn't retain the heat and you must often set on the base. But for a light pressing or crafting it works fine.

I do a little sewing and this iron is perfect for that. It's really nice to not have a cord always getting in the way. As others have said, it does need to be put back on the base pretty often. And it's a bit awkward doing so. There are 3 brass electrical pins on the base that have to go into holes in the iron. The temperature dial is very hard for me to turn, I have huge hands. And my hand just fits in the handle. Has a non-stick plate. Still can't believe I got one of these new for $10!
If you don't plan on doing a LOT of ironing every time you use it, it's great. But it would be bothersome to keep returning it to its base and waiting for it to recharge (which takes maybe just seconds). There is a pilot light on the side that goes out when it is fully charged.
Includes iron, base that swivels (with a compartment for tucking in the cord when not in use), and a small cup for filling with water.
I'm very happy with mine.
