Great Iron!, March 1, 2010 This review is from: Sunbeam 4267-000-000 Professional Digital Stainless Steel Soleplate Iron, Chrome Skirt (Kitchen) I purchased this item about three months ago after my 30 year old Black and Decker finally passed on. My primary use is for sewing applications and I purchased it because it was on sale and seemed like it had quite a few features for the price point. I had researched Rowentas, Black and Deckers and everything in between and I couldn't find an iron that seemed like it was an all around great deal. I did end up settling for this one because I couldn't justify the price of a Rowenta and the Black and Decker that is so popular wasn't available in any store near my house. So far, I've been very happy with this purchase. It puts out quite a bit of steam and has a nice weight behind it. It heats up quickly and lights up green to indicate that its ready for use. I also like that one can use regular tap water in this, rather than filtered water. The cord is plenty long for my uses and never seems to get tangled. There's also plenty of room at the base of the iron to wrap the cord... Read more

Works good. I don't know the deal with the other reviewer, mine works great. The cord is long and as an iron the labels are self-explanatory.
