DONT BOTHER WITH THIS IRON, September 14, 2005 By Amazon Verified Purchase I bought this relatively inexpensive travel Iron for my trip through Europe. I tested it at home and it was ok. I got to Europe and switched to the European voltage and it got so hot so quickly that I almost burned myself. The controls dont work very well. It either gets way too hot or not hot enough. Doesnt get the wrinkles out very well either.
