I have owned very expensive irons that worked well, but have their drawbacks, price being one of them. I love this iron. It is the perfect weight, sole plate is very nice, easy to clean, cord is durable, temp settings are true to temps, I don't burn my hand with the burst of steam or on continueous steam. The price is the same I paid 7 years ago. I was surprised to find this iron is still around. They always seem to discontinue a good thing. I still use the first iron, it has been dropped on carpeted flooring and is just starting to leak once and a while.
